Apoorva Chauhan is a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Utah State University, Utah, USA. In December 2014, she received her M.S. degree in Computer Science from Utah State University in the field of Crisis Informatics. She pursued her undergraduate studies at the Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (Bhopal, India), graduating in 2012 with a B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering.

Chauhan's research interests include Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), Crisis Informatics (CI), User Centered Design (UCD), User Experience (UX) and mobile technologies.
